17th Annual Manhattan Fencing Center Sleep-Away Camp

Under the supervision of Seven-Time Olympic Coach Yury Gelman, this camp offers a one-of-a-kind experience with expert coaching in saber and foil. Our state-of-the-art host facility features air-conditioned dorms, sports center, swimming pool, squash courts, soccer fields, game room, movie room, ice rink, hiking trails and more.
Join a community of elite fencers, including Olympic and World Medalists, National and NCAA Champions, and National Team fencers from around the world. With names like Dagmara Wozniak, Jenna Shoman, Elizabeth Tartakovsky, Keeth Smart, Daryl Homer, and Olek Ochocki, you’ll be in good company as you reach for your full potential. Saber: Ideal for fencers with at least 1 year of competitive experience ages 11+. Training groups available are Y10, Y12, Y14, Cadet, Junior, Senior and Veteran.
Foil: Ideal for youth fencers Y10, Y12, Y14 with at least 1 year of competitive experience.

Camp includes:
- Comfortable rooms accommodating 2 people, with air conditioning available on a first-come-first-serve basis to the first 140 campers
- Nourishing meals throughout the day, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, with snacks in the evening; catering to all allergies and dietary restrictions
- Two Daily fencing practices, focusing on technique, tactics, and psychology
- Engaging team-building activities to enhance collaboration and teamwork
- Comprehensive instruction from experienced and dedicated staff, with a ratio of 1 staff member to every 5 campers
- Camp t-shirt, Nurse and Athletic Trainer
- A camp-wide tournament and award ceremony to showcase skills and celebrate achievements
- Embark on an adventurous day off with friends, exploring a scenic hike in the woods. The Williston campus borders the Manhan Rail Trail, providing a thrilling route that connects to other exciting rail trails in the region.
